In order to provide the most realistic results, the Catenary Cables addon uses some scientific libraries (scipy) that are not available in Blender.
For this reason, these libraries must be installed before you start using the addon. The plugin handles this for you in the easiest way.
Run Blender as Administrator.
Open the Preferences Panel by following Edit -> Preferences from the top menu.
Go to the Add-Ons section on the left side panel.
Click Install and select add-on’s .zip file.
Type Catenary Cables in the search field
If the necessary libraries are not installed on your blender, you will see this screen. If Blender was run as administrator, press the "Install Dependencies" button.
<aside> 📢 Installing dependencies may take 10-20 seconds depending on your internet speed. A total of 45 MB is downloaded and Blender may freeze during this time. You don't need to worry.

After the dependencies are installed, you need to close and restart Blender.
Now you can start creating Catenary Cables!
